Rabbit Hole - Nice to meet ya, apple drink?

It was just another night at the rabbit hole. The smell of alcohol and cigarettes were there as usual, the audience was jumping up and down and singing Drake's lyrics as usual, a couple making out in the backs as usual, some fight in the bar about to start as usual, the band was playing as hard as usual, and Drake was there on the stage rocking with his guitar when he noticed the only unusual thing.
Regina Mills just opened the door and walked in.
What was the Mayor doing in this place?
Drake just saw her some days ago and felt a huge crush on her. Since that day he discovered her name is Regina, she is not the most loved person in Storybrooke... and... she likes apples. Well... she was there alone, why not to be friendly?
As soon as that song he was playing ended Drake just threw his guitar on the ground and left stage... (as usual) he walked to the bar and asked for a beer and some nice drink mixed with apple.
He looked to the mayor, blushed feeling a weird deja vu sensation and approached her.
- Hi, excuse me, mayor. My name is Drake, care for an apple drink?

Regina was bored. It had been two weeks since she had cast the curse, and every day it had been the same. She had the same routine every day, and she was fed up of it. So, that evening, she decided to mix things up a bit. After work, instead of going to Granny's for a meal, she decided to visit the local bar, The Rabbit Hole. As she walked in, she noticed that she recognised the guy playing guitar in the corner, but shrugged it off. She had probably just seen him somewhere around Storybrooke. But there was just something about him, like she knew him. She stopped worrying about it, and just told herself that she'd just seen him in Granny's, or somewhere like that. Regina sat down at the bar and was just about to order an Apple Martini when the music stopped. She turned around to find the guitarist walking towards the bar, his guitar dumped on the stage. She watched him order a drink and wait at the bar. Something made her curious about this man. He seemed so mysterious, but so open at the same time. Suddenly, she noticed that he was moving towards him, in one hand, carrying a beer, and in the other, carrying what suspiciously looked like an Apple Martini. To Regina's surprise he stopped in front of her, and said, " Hi, excuse me, mayor. My name is Drake, care for an apple drink?" She looked at him with curiosity. Why on earth would he buy her a drink? So in reply, she said, "Sure. Why not. But how did you know I like Apple Martini's?" She looked at him patiently and waited for his answer.

She looked at him with curiosity. Oh man she looked so cute, how is that possible to have such a crush in some girl that you're actually talking to for the first time?

- Well *Drake blushed a little with Regina Mills 's question* since you are the mayor people tend to notice you, like Granny, she noticed that you always order apple candies... 

Drake noticed that he talked to much how would he know what the mayor order at Granny's? Ok that would be weird...

- ... ...And granny told be because I asked about you. Mind to have some company?  - He asked looking to the empty chair at the mayor's table.

"Mind to have some company?" He finished. Regina looked at him for a while, trying to decide what to do. After all, she had come here to socialise, and he was the only person talking to her, so what harm could it do. However, she didn't know anything about him, and there was still something about him that was bugging her. She tried to recall where she had seen him before, and then it hit her. He used to work for her mother before she married King Leopold. He must have known Daniel.
Thinking about Daniel brought tears to her eyes, but she quickly turned her face and wiped away the tears. Hoping he hadn't seen them, she turned back to him, and smiled. He seemed so nice, so genuinely sweet, so Regina decided to try and spend some time with him.
"Sure, why not? Take a seat."

"Sure, why not? Take a sit"
Drake noticed that something have troubled the mayor. It was quickly abd she tried to hide it but he ciuld swear that for a broef moment she was about to cry.
He didn't want to push it so he decided not to mention it.
- how are you today? I have to tell you you don't seem the kind of person who are regulars here at the Rabbit Hole.

[Regina Mills]

"How are you today? I have to tell you, you don't seem the kind of person who are regulars here at the Rabbit Hole." Drake said.
"I'm good. And I'm here because I felt like a change." She looked at him with curiosity as she sipped her drink. No-one was ever this friendly with her unless they were after something. She hoped he was being genuinely friendly, but she had to make sure.
"Why are you being nice to me? I mean, nobody's ever nice to me. So why are you?"

Drake  wondered why anyone would not be nice to this beautiful woman.
Well she's the mayor maybe it was about politics... But Storybrooke it's such a nice town, she can't be a really bad mayor.
This comment made him fell bad for her, and only make him care about her even more... "She must feel lonely" Drake tought

- Well mayor, I hope you are ok with the complement: you are a stunning, beautiful woman, it's only natural for a guy being interested and wanting to know you better.

"Well mayor, I hope you are okay with the complement: you are a stunning, beautiful woman, it's only natural for a guy being interested and wanting to know you better." This shocked Regina. Nobody in this land had ever complimented her like that. Drake seemed bold but also sweet and caring. She hadn't known many people like that in her life. But he reminded her of Daniel, and she didn't know if she would want to spend a lot of time with him for that reason. It would just be too hard. Then she thought. maybe just for this one night, she should be brave, and not think of her bad past, but think instead of her future.
"Thank you. You're probably the first person to tell me anything like that in a long time. And please, call me Regina."

Again Drake was surprised. Women like that are usually tired of getting these kind of complements.
He smiled.
- Well, Regina I would love to know a little about you. But since we're drinking and havung fun lets skip all the "being the mayor stuff". Why don't you tell me more about things you like?

[Regina Mills]

"Why don't you tell me more about things you like?"
Regina was being careful. She had experienced bad friendships with people before, and they had all ended with the person either dying, or having their heart ripped out. But tonight was going to be different. Like he had said, they were just drinking and having fun, so after a few moments of silence, she answered. "Well, you already know I like apples. Hmm. I used to love horse riding, but I haven't done that in a very long time. Thinking about it there's not really that much to tell. What about you? Tell me about some of the things you like." She took another sip of her drink ad waited patiently for him to answer.

He drank a little from his bottle.
- Well that's a lot that I like..
Music... every kind of music, to have fun, relax and chat with people, and of course movies... I watch so many movies, the comedy, the horror, the romantic movies... as he talked about movies it was kind of blur when he watched all those movies or how he started enjoying music, but somehow it was clear that he really enjoyed all of those thinks.
There's nothing like having some popcorn watching a really good movie... or listening some of your favorite songs right?

Regina envied him a little, all she had time to do was, work, eat and sleep. The only reason she was here tonight was because she had left work a little early, and because she would probably be extremely sleep deprived tomorrow.
"Well, I don't really get the time to watch movies or listen to music. My life is so busy, I don't have enough time to stop and enjoy it. But I guess that's just something that comes with being mayor. So is this what you do for a living, playing guitar?"

No wonder why she didn't get many complements. She must be working all the time.
"All work and no fun makes Jack a dull boy"
He sliped his beer and reminded that Regina just said that doesn't watch movies so she would not understand what he did just said.
- It's a quote for an horror movie. I know you have responsabilities, Regina, but what's the fun of being the mayor if you can't relax and have a "me time" one day or another?
He blinked at her.

- Well I play guitar, I sing and I writte a lot, I always care a little notepade with me just in case I get some idea for a song or poem", it must sound like "not a real job" for someone like you who deal with so many responsabilities everyday. But it makes me haapy

This man was so lucky, he had all the time in the world to just relax, and be the person he wanted to be, whereas she was stuck with her extremely busy schedule, and never had even a second for some much needed, 'me time'.
"I wish I could be like you, going around and just being yourself, free from having to work almost 24/7. I just wish for one day I could relax and have a bit of fun."

He finished his beer.
